Swimmers delight in awards
Tonbridge Swimming Club were celebrating two awards recently: Iona was awarded the Kent Junior Para Swimmer of the Year at the Kent ACM for her magnificent season & many national titles she won, not to mention the personal bests.

And Amalie was Awarded the Kent Young Swimmer of the Year for her phenomenal British 13-years 200m Individual Medley Age record swum at the British Summer Championships along with her multiple national medal successes.

Bowls Open Day
Sevenoaks Indoor Bowls Club will once again be hosting their ever popular Open Day on Saturday 7th October from 10.00am to 4.00pm for prospective new bowlers. Coaching and equipment is provided, plus you’ll receive four weeks bowling for free before deciding to join.

Bowls is recommended for its health benefits, gentle exercise and social contact in a very friendly atmosphere, suitable for all ages from beginner to the experienced bowler. For those not able to attend the Open Day, why not pay a visit to the club during a week day morning when you can enjoy a look round and a coffee too. Sports Council awards evening
The Sevenoaks District Sports Council held their annual Awards evening at the start of September to congratulate all those who had received grants during the 2022-23 period.

Team GB’s Issy Fassnidge was the guest of honour alongside the Sports Council Chair Edward Oatley MBE, and leader of the District Council Alan Leyland.

Crockenhill Pétanque Club
Crockenhill Pétanque Club would like to invite you to try the game of Pétanque every Monday evening at 7pm and every Friday afternoon at 2pm at the Chequers Pub in Crockenhill. Foresters on look out for talented players to join exciting squad
With their recent success of making it to a cup final and promotion last season, Tunbridge Wells Foresters FC are looking for experienced players and those looking for a club post U18 level to join their inclusive and diverse women’s 2nd team.

They are offering to improve your abilities and make lasting connections with like-minded players, whilst being coached by UEFA B and C coaches on a 3G training facility. If you are interested in joining them, please contact the club at forestersfc@gmail.com.

Fireworks and a World Cup Final
Tunbridge Wells Rugby Club are pleased to announce the return of their fireworks display and this year it will coincide with the Rugby World Cup Final on Saturday 28th October.

There will be food and drink available throughout the evening which will start with fireworks on St Marks Recreation Ground at 5.00pm. Tickets are available through Eventbrite and cost £9 for adults and £5 for children.
