Kent’s Premier 100 ball midweek cricket competition The Smash is back for it’s fifth year with organisers commenting that “preparation for the competition is ramping up – groups are in the process of being finalised so watch out for announcements this week!”.
They added that “with all the entries in for 2025, it’s amazing to see how many areas of Kent the competition covers!”
Born in 2021, The Smash now enters its fifth season in 2025 and will be its biggest and best yet. With over 40 teams, ranging from Kent Premier League teams to Kent Village League teams, it continues to cater for cricketers of all abilities.
The Smash culminates with Finals Day where teams will play for the Cup, Plate, and Bowl at the home of Sevenoaks Vine Cricket Club.
Last year, the competition also launched The Junior Smash which serves to provide junior cricket for boys and girls from U11 to U15 throughout the summer holidays culminating in their own finals day.
