Corinthian Football Club made it seven wins from seven matches at the weekend as they brushed aside Welling Town 4-0 in the Southern Counties East Football League. Their latest win puts them three points clear of second placed Chatham Town with healthy goal difference of +16.
Sevenoaks Town continued their unbeaten form in the Isthmian League South East Division on Saturday. Tom Ripley scoring a late equaliser away at Faversham Town to earn themselves a point. Sevenoaks now find themselves in third place, just three points from early leaders VCD Athletic.

In the Kent County Premier League, Ide Hill and Otford United went head-to-head at Greatness Park for the first meeting of the two local sides this season. Otford got the better of their opponents sailing into a 3-0 lead, however a resilient Ide Hill dug deep to claw two goals back. After many opportunities in the final minutes, Otford held on for a great first win of the season.
Crockenhill meanwhile secured a 1-1 draw with highflyers Farnborough Old Boys Guild. The results leave all three teams at the foot of the table with plenty of work to do.
Elsewhere, Chipstead went down 3-1 away at Metrogas in Division One West, Halstead continued their winning ways 2-0 at home to Farnborough Old Boys Guild Reserves in Division Three West and Ide Hill Reserves secured a 3-2 win on the road at Tenterden Reserves in Division Three East & Central.

Sevenoaks Hockey Club enjoyed a weekend of success with both senior sides winning their leatest round of matches. Sevenoaks men’s 1st XI travelled to Havant on Sunday and defended well in the fourth quarter winning the match 5-3. Their were smiles all round from the Oaks players as they posted their first win on the board.
The ladies 1st XI hosted Canterbury at Hollybush Lane on Saturday afternoon and Sevenoaks managed to break the deadlock with a goal from Susie Rowe which was enough to earn them all three points in a 1-0 victory.
Meanwhile, over at HC Knole Park and the women’s 1st XI won their third league match of the season with an exceptional 11-0 victory against second placed Marden Russets 2nd. The result see’s the team sit clear at the top of the Women’s Kent Open Division Two with a goal dfference of +45.
HC Knole Park men meanwhile tasted their first defeat of the season after losing 7-2 on the road at table-toppers Herne Bay 3rd. Two goals from Duncan Parnis were not enough on the occasion to keep the match competitive as the opposition were on top from start to finish.
