Tunbridge Wells to fly the flag for West Kent in premier division

Tunbridge Wells Cricket Club will be going it alone in the Kent Cricket Premier Division this season after Holmesdale and Sevenoaks Vine were relegated in 2023. The season starts on Saturday 11th May and Tunbridge Wells will host Canterbury at the Nevill Ground in their opening fixture.

Last year Tunbridge Wells finished the season in third place after winning 10 of their 18 matches. This matches the highest position they have ever finished but another push similar to last year will bolster the sides ambitions of winning their first ever Kent Premier title.

The team will no doubt be relying on Sam Smith once again at the crease and Matthew Barker with the ball.

During the five month season they will take trips to Bexley, Bickley Park, Blackheath, Canterbury, Hayes, Lordswood, Minster, Sandwich Town and St Lawrence & Highland Court.

On Wednesday 5th June, the Nevill Ground will open it’s doors once again to county cricket with the Kent 2’s taking on Sussex County Cricket Club 2’s.
