Tonbridge juddians enjoy trip to colchester with second season win

Tonbridge Juddians recorded two more wins for their 1s and 2s on the second Saturday of the season, however the Women’s team fell short in their season opener.

The Juddians squad headed north to Colchester in the National 2 East and enjoyed their second maximum points win. Four first half tries paved the way and whilst Colchester narrowed the gap around half time they could not overhaul TJs and they finally ran out
26-48 victors.

The result leaves Tonbridge in second place just behind Canterbury who are also two from two after beating Sevenoaks 14-27 at Knole Paddock. Sevenoaks are next up for Juddians at The Slade on Saturday 21st September.

Meanwhile, Tonbridge Juddians 2s saw off Beckenham with a huge 66-13 result to make it two wins from two in Counties 3 Kent.

The Juddians Women opened their league campaign against Heathfield & Waldron, but with a number of new and young players on debut, they unfortuantely missed out in a 0-31 result.

Tonbridge’s Academy squads were also in action at the start of the season with the Academy Bs just missing out in a 0-7 reverse against Tunbridge Wells in a friendly, whilst the U16s lost 19-6 in a friendly at Sevenoaks. The U16 Girls headed to Horsham for their friendly where they lost 52-31.
