Tonbridge Juddians continued their undefeated National 2 East winning run with a six try 41-28 win over Old Albanians at The Slade in November. Old Albanians were first out of the blocks and took a 0-8 lead but Tonbridge hit back with tries from Sam Blade, Duncan Tout, Connor Lloyd, and Tom White to lead 24-11 at the break.
Second half tries from Hugo Culverhouse and Harrison Sims, plus extras from Lloyd, Sam Evans and White gave Juddians their 10th maximum points win out of 10 to keep them top of the table and four points clear of Dorking in second place. They travel to mid-table Bury St Edmunds next Saturday before a break in proceedings. They then finish off 2024 with home games against Henley and Colchester, split by a trip to Oxford Harlequins.
Elsewhere, Sevenoaks came unstuck once again, this time to a struggling Colchester side at Knole Paddock, losing the game 23-28. The visitors took an early lead in the third minute before Barney Stone equalised just a minute later, two conversions for both sides then another two tries plus extras saw the match tied at 14-14. Colchester pushed on though and, despite three penalties for Sevenoaks, the visitors scored in the 80th minute to give themselves the points and the win.
