Following on from the success of the 2022 Sport & Wellbeing Showcase Event, For The Love Of Sport CIC are delighted to announce that it will be hosting this year’s 2023 event!
To be held at Seal Recreation Ground on Sunday July 2nd from 12pm, the showcase event promises to be another show-stopping day in the local sporting calendar.
In a fun filled afternoon full of displays, demonstrations and skills in which the community can take part in, the event creates a tangible and fully interactive way for our local clubs and our local communities to come together and connect with one another.
For clubs looking for new players, members or for volunteers, or those seeking new sponsorships deals or collaborations, to those just wanting to engage more with their local community and raise their profiles, the Sport & Wellbeing Showcase Event creates the perfect environment to support and help our clubs whatever their needs.
Multiple sports, all in one location
Perhaps you’re a member of the community considering taking up a sport or re-kindling a love for an old one, or maybe you’re considering a new sport for your little one but you don’t know where to begin, what will fit into family life? Come along and chat to the guys and girls who run our clubs and try some of the many sports out for yourselves!
Health & Wellbeing
Oh and did we mention wellbeing?! There will be a number of local wellbeing providers showing us what they offer & demonstrating the benefits of looking after our mental health as well as our physical health.
As well as displays, demos and skills there will be numerous food, drink and ice cream trucks, inflatables, prizes and with free entry for the community, it’s an event not to be missed!
