Sevenoaks Vine and Holmesdale finish season on a high after great results

In August, Sevenoaks Vine took to the field of play in the Kent Cricket Premier Division to welcome A21 rivals Tunbridge Wells. In short the visitors were out for 86 runs and Sevenoaks reached their target with the loss of just one wicket.

That result secured their position in the top flight of cricket for another year and with changes at the helm, Andy Richardson as outgoing Chairman, he has done his job to secure another year at that level for the Vine club.

Elsewhere, Holmesdale Cricket Club are just one win (or draw) away from returning to the top flight to re-join Sevenoaks. Their season has been quite flawless and those performances will come in handy next year should the squad stay together.
