Sevenoaks Town’s young goalkeeper Reggie Rose signs for Brentford FC

Sevenoaks Town Football Club have announced that there 17-year old goalkeeper Reggie Rose has signed for Premier League club Brentford FC.

In a post on Twitter the club said: “We’re delighted to announce that Reggie Rose has signed for Premier League club Brentford FC. The Kinetic Foundation scholar has played five times for us this season. We wish Reggie all the very best for the future.”

Sevenoaks Town’s manager, and the Kinetic Foundation Co-Founder, Harry Hudson added: “I am extremely proud of Reggie. I first started working with him at Crystal Palace when he was eight years old. Reggie’s had a lot of setbacks on the way but he’s stayed so resilient and focused, he really does deserve it.”

“He’s obviously had some exposure in men’s football with us at Sevenoaks Town which I think has helped his development and showed he can cope with the physical presence and challenges you face at Non-League.”

Brentford FC stated on their website that Reggie is a promising young goalkeeper who previously spent time within the youth system at Crystal Palace and has been in training regularly in recent weeks with the B team and featured for the final 15 minutes against Huddersfield Town B on 21 January.
