Sevenoaks Town maintain isthmian league Premier Division playoff push

Its all square in games played as the Isthmian League heads into the last seven matches of the season.

Sevenoaks currently sit in seventh place, in the South East Division, just one spot outside the playoffs after 31 games.

However, with home fixtures against Sheppey United and Hythe Town in March and two tasty looking six-pointers against other playoff rivals Cray Valley PM and Beckenham Town in early April, the mammoth task of getting out of this league has really heated up.

Sevenoaks’ recent form has taken a small dip with failure to win away at Corinthian and Whitehawk dropping them just outside the playoffs. But their wins against Burgess Hill Town, Faversham Town and Littlehampton Town made sure that they didn’t drop too far.

Their season could yet go down to the last game of the season, a match at home to Chichester City on Saturday 22nd April. And should Sevenoaks still be in a playoff spot by then, then there is no real reason why these boys can’t compete against the likes of Ramsgate, Beckenham Town, Chatham Town Whitehawk, and Cray Valley PM for a place in the Premier Division.
