Records have been broken by Sevenoaks Swimmer Imogen Myles, who at just 15 years broke three records following her impressive 200m Breaststroke short course swim at Sheffield this weekend.
Imogen’s time of 2.25.59 seconds secured her Junior Age Group National Champion Gold medal and Senior Age Group Silver medal. Swimming five seconds quicker than her heat time Imogen has now broken the South East Junior record which has stood for eight years, the Open Record which has stood for five years and Kent record.
Imogen is now the fastest 15 year old in Britain and eighth fastest individual swimmer in Britain.
Head Coach, Sacha Djerfi said: “Imogen is a very young but professional and mature athlete I am immensely proud of her outstanding achievement. Huge congratulations also to additional qualifiers Vince Mok, Maisie Chambers, Demi Ali and Scarlett Davie for their great swims this weekend.”
