Sevenoaks Powerchair Football Club started their WFA National League Premiership campaign at the weekend with some mixed results.
Unfortunately, Sevenoaks started the season with two losses in their opening matches against West Bromwich Albion Throstles (3-0) and Aspire PFC (3-1). However, a healthy 3-1 win over last year’s Championship title contenders, Leeds PFC, saw them finish their first day with three points on the board.
Sunday started in a similar fashion to Saturday, losing 2-0 to Nottingham PFC, but Sevenoaks were able to keep a clean sheet against Sale Utd PFC to earn another point for the weekend.
Five matches played, four points, not a bad start at all for the newcomers!
