Sevenoaks Hockey Club U18 boys continued their strong season by reaching the quarter finals of England Hockey’s knockout competition with a 4-0 win over Wimbledon.
With only a slender 1-0 half time lead to show for their attack-minded play, a few tactical tweaks by coach Alex Salmon paid dividends. The side continued their forward momentum after the break and with more composure in front of goal scored 3 further unanswered goals. Another good result and strong performance to keep the teams’ interest in this season’s tournament alive.
Goal scorers for Sevenoaks were Ben Rodenhurst, Carlos Rees, Meno Mangat and George Glen.
