Sevenoaks Hockey Club U18 boys continued their strong season by reaching the quarter finals of England Hockey’s knockout competition with a 4-0 win over Wimbledon.
With only a slender 1-0 half time lead to show for their attack-minded play, a few tactical tweaks by coach Alex Salmon paid dividends. Â The side continued their forward momentum after the break and with more composure in front of goal scored 3 further unanswered goals. Â Another good result and strong performance to keep the teams’ interest in this season’s tournament alive.
Goal scorers for Sevenoaks were Ben Rodenhurst, Carlos Rees, Meno Mangat and George Glen.
