Sevenoaks Hockey Club members Max Denniff and Kieran Walton are both off to university this year, but not before they faced each other at opposite ends of the pitch as they played a friendly in London at the start of September.
The pre-season friendly match was organised by their respective universities where both boys have made the first teams. Max is starting at Durham University, while his close playing partner is off to Exeter.
Kieran will be back at Holly Bush Lane this season as Exeter play in the Mens Premier League. Good luck on your return Kieran.
• Max has recently been in action in Santander, Spain, where he represented England U18’s at The Europeans Championships and he has now been asked to attend a GB Elite Development Assessment Camp in early September at Lilleshall.
