Millwall Community Trust raise £4,000 for West Kingsdown Foodbank

At the end of March, Millwall Community Trust hosted ‘An Evening With Neil Harris’ at the London Golf Club.

In aid of the Cupboard Foodbank in West Kingsdown, a Q&A was hosted with Millwall Football Club’s all-time record goalscorer, Play-Off winner – as a player and a manager – and now manager of Kent side, Sky Bet League Two outfit Gillingham, before questions came from the floor, with a raffle and an auction ending a spectacular night.

Harris looked back on his storied career with The Lions and spoke candidly on the highs and lows of working in football and at Millwall, as well as putting some personal items of his up for auction – gathering an incredible total of £1,800.

In total, £4,130 was raised, with 100% of the profit going towards Cupboard Foodbank.
