There was an emphatic win for Ide Hill FC this weekend as they beat AFC Bexley 3-0 at Wrotham on the 3G pitch.
After early resistance Ide Hill took control of the game and surprisingly the first half was scoreless as plenty of chances were created, however Ide Hill keeper Mike McKay pulled off a super double save to stop a penalty.
In the second half Ide Hill pushed on to win with every squad player making an impressive contribution. Good level of fitness and skill so early in the season and things will only improve with regular Wednesday training sessions and more friendly matches.
Goal scorers were Callum Heath (2) and Steve McGinn. A special mention to debutant Ben Holder who is a welcome addition to the squad.
