Free rounds for local NHS workers at Knole Park Golf Club

As we all know, the NHS staff have been at the epicentre of the tragic pandemic and have worked tirelessly around the clock, putting themselves at risk for others.

Knole Park Golf Club are definitely playing their part in thanking these heroic local NHS staff as they offer them a free round of golf on their stunning course, ranked in England’s top 100.

And if they don’t feel like they’re ready to take on the course, they can alternatively opt for a free group coaching session held by one of their teaching Professionals, including their Head Professional and ex-European player Andrew Butterfield.

The first two ball who played at the course when it reopened in May, left a fantastic testimonial after visiting the club: “We visited the course with a friend on the NHS Staff Golf Offer. It was a great experience. We felt very welcomed. It’s a very well designed course in a beautiful park and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The 18 hole course was designed by the bold architect J F Abercromby in 1924, he made dramatic use of the undulating terrain to create a distinct and memorable course. Set within 1,000 acres of stunning natural deer park belonging to Knole House. Home to the Kent Cob Open competition, the Club has hosted the British Senior Amateur, the English Girls Championships and the Tillman Trophy in recent years.

Recently ranked in the top 100 most fun courses to play in Great Britain and Ireland by National Club Golfer, they described their experience as “entertaining and engaging from start to finish!”
