Foresters cut down Ebbsfleet in Kent final

Tunbridge Wells Foresters Football Club, who play in the Premier Division of the Sevenoaks & District League, lifted the DFDS Kent Junior B Cup in May as they cruised past Ebbsfleet Town FC 5-0.

A hattrick from 17 year old Adam Larkin earned himself a much deserved Man of the Match award, whilst Jack Stewart and Zach Benton added the other two goals to crown a glorious display by the boys in the bright spring sunshine.

Their opponents from the Rochester & District League didn’t have anything in response on the day, and will go away wondering what went wrong.

Manager Eren Muduroglu was visibly proud of his young team, and said after the final whistle: “They deserved that today, they worked hard, they’re all young, and I’m pleased for them. I am not results-driven, my results are them being better people, and better players.”

The clubs senior women’s team also won their Kent Cup final making it a ‘cup double’ for Chairman Stuart Newman.
