Aquaoaks swimmers excite judges with execution and artistic impression

On the 30th of April, Aquaoaks Artistic Swimming travelled up to Nottingham to compete in the 2023 Robin Hood Competition, against six other teams from around the country.

The day started with an impressive swim from the under 12 duet, Charlotte Ryan and Zoë Moore. Their entertaining routine put them straight into 1st place. Next up was the 13-15 duet, swam by Emily Newton, Tabitha Tolhurst and reserve Ava Terry. Their Aladdin themed routine also won them a gold medal.

The team competition followed, with Aquaoaks’ 13-15 combo team swimming a routine to music from Six The Musical. Aquaoaks was thrilled to come away with gold medals for their junior performance squad. The judges were impressed with their execution and artistic impression. The team included Abigail White, Ava Terry, Cleo Campbell, Emily Newton, Hazeley Kalisch, Immy Brand, Imogen Strand, Lauren Copp, Sofia Spencer and Tabitha Tolhurst.
