Sevenoaks Rugby Club travelled to North Norfolk side North Walsham at the start of December in a must win game this side of Christmas. However the home side delivered a match full of endeavour and no little skill, defeating an organised Sevenoaks team 42-27.
The match was entertaining for the neutral supporter with 10 tries in the match, six of them going to North Walsham, but both teams were making the referees life miserable. Sevenoaks were determined to get their fourth try, which did eventually come in the ninth minute of added time! Full time: 42-27.
Sevenoaks face two tough National League 2 East games before the Christmas break against Tonbridge Juddians and Blackheath, the first match at home.
Oaks will then have a brief period of reflection over the New Year before hosting Worthing at the Paddock on Saturday 7th January.
