SKATE Tunbridge Wells
This festive season, Calverley Grounds in Tunbridge Wells will once again transform into a winter wonderland with its magical ice rink, bringing holiday cheer to visitors of all ages.
Starting on Friday 29th November 2024, and open every day until Sunday 5th January 2025 (excluding Christmas Day), the rink offers a joyful skating experience under twinkling lights in the heart of town.
Just a five-minute walk from the train station and town centre, the rink and its surrounding festive stalls provide a picturesque setting with views of the beautifully lit park – a seasonal experience not to be missed!
Visitors can also enjoy a variety of attractions, including a cafƩ and bar, family skating sessions, Bavarian Curling, and a ride on the charming Christmas Wheel, rounding out the holiday festivities at the ice rink.
Returning this year, the rink will also host Relaxed Skating Sessions every Friday at 1.00pm. These sessions offer a quieter experience, free from music and flashing lights, with a slower pace for a more peaceful environment.

Designed to make skating accessible and enjoyable for everyone, these sessions are especially suitable for those who may find traditional ice skating settings challenging. All are welcome to join and skate at their own pace, with easy access to exit the ice at any time.
Skate with family and friends, regardless of skill level. Book in advance to save youself £2 per ticket, and consider pre-booking a Seal Skating Aid for younger skaters, as same-day availability cannot be guaranteed. All sessions are approximately 45 minutes long.
Why not try their Gold experience on Christmas Eve? On the day prices are as follows: Adults £22.00, Children U16 £17.00; whilst advance booking is: Adults £20.00, Children U16 £15.00.
